Career: Had an outstanding season as a junior, capturing All-American honors and playing a large role in ODU qualifying for all six national championship events...Also earned honorable-mention All-American honors in 2000...Has already placed second at the BYO Radial this fall...Last fall she was a member of ODU's first place MAISA sloop team, and finished second at the MAISA Women's Singlehanded...Finished ninth at the ICSA Women's Singlehanded Championships...Skippered a victory in the A division of the St. Mary's Women's Intersectional in the fall...Also enjoyed several top-three finishes during the spring...Led the way to a fourth place A division finish at the ICSA Women's Championship...As a sophomore, Barkow earned three top-five finishes, including one at the MAISA Women's Open in the spring...Finished seventh in the A division at the ICYRA Women's Championships...At University Lake, Barkow competed in four different sports: basketball, soccer, and field hockey.
